Our business provides custom welding and fabrication of stainless steel equipment specializing in the fabrication of stainless steel vessels.
What type of welding do you use?
We have experience in different types of welding however we specialize in the use of tungsten inert gas or (TIG) welding.
What is TIG welding?
TIG is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
What type of material do you work on?
We specialize in the fabrication of customized stainless steel products. The grade of the stainless steel material we work on the most is 304/304L and 316/316L. The thickness of the material is called a gauge, which can range from 7 gauge to 16 gauge.
Where do you get your material?
We buy materials from the Chicagoland and vicinity areas to support local business as much as possible. When material is not available, we may buy from neighboring states throughout the US.
Do you only work at your shop or do you also provide outcall services?
Most of our fabricated and repaired items are created at our facility. However, we do come out and do large repairs or installations at manufacturing and processing companies when the item or project can't be brought in. **Note that an additional charge may be added for emergency calls.

Can I bring an item in to have it repaired?
Please give us a call ahead of coming in to make sure that our head welder will be at the shop in order to give you a quick free consultation. This way we may let you know whether your item can be repaired depending on the type of metal and current condition of the item brought in. You may find our number at the top of this page.
How soon can I have my item completed?
It depends on the complexity of the item or items being fabricated or repaired. On larger projects, the lead time would depend on how soon we receive your security deposit, drawing approval from you, current workshop load and material arrival.
Why do you require a deposit?
Due to the customized nature of our products, we request a minimum of 50% or more (depending on the project) to be paid prior to begin fabrication. The materials we purchase are specific to each job, and we can't return them after being purchased.
Will you be able to suggest what would work best for my specific need?
We would first consult with our customers to reach a better understanding of the customers' need. It would be then that we may come up with ideas and/or suggestions on the best and most affordable way to proceed with the job without sacrificing the quality of our product. However, the final decision is at the customers' discretion.
